FAQ

1. Why my display screen shows nothing?
ANS : Pleases check following steps.

A. Make sure all cables are firmly and properly connected to the correct port.

B. Be sure to power on your display and switch input source to “HDMI” channel.

C. Connect HDMI cable to the display (TV) and adapter, then connect the other end to the computer’s USB Type-C port.

D. Make sure your laptop or mobile device supports USB Type-C standard ”DisplayPort Alternate Mode”. This adapter does not work on pure USB Type-C DFP (Downstream Facing Port) mode.

 

2. Why my 4K display screen can not output 60Hz frame rate?

ANS：XIAOBI USB-C to HDMI adapter is designed based on HDMI 2.0 standard. It can support upto 60Hz frame rate when UHD (3840x2160) resolution. Please confirm if the HDMI display support HDMI2.0 specification.

 

3. Which direction does the USB Type-C cable plug in?

ANS : XIAOBI adapter use Reversible USB Type-C connector ensures proper operation regardless of how the adapter is connected. Don’t worry about plugging it in upside down.
